Make Cortana do things...

So, if you're a windows 10 user you already know who Cortana is...
Is there a way to send commands to her remotely?
It would be really neat to say e.g. "tell Cortana to play Queen of Spotify".
Also this would make most of the push2run cards obsolete as she can perform most of their functions on her own.
She can up and down the volume, launch programs, shutdown the pc, play music, answer questions and plenty more...

After some googling I found this https://github.com/crclayton/custom-cor ... s-template custom commands template.
I hope you amazing people can make it happen! :D

Hmm ...

I'll let you figure out the trigger phrase, but assuming it ends in a $, such as:
tell Cortana to $

you should be able to set a Push2Run card with

the open field set to: Desktop

and the keys to send field set to: {win}{wait200}{release}{wait200}${wait500}{enter}

that should work.

However, please note you need an IFTTT trigure phrase to, like

OK Google tell my computer to $

so you would have to say ...

OK Google tell my computer to tell Cortana to play Queen on Spotify

but maybe you could figure out a better set of phrase

I guess just using cortana as a push2run trigger should work. I currently use PC, run and launch. Going to have a go at this over the next few days
