Not a bug, but...

I don't have a bug report per se, but I need help. I have a Google Home Hub, a Lenovo Smart Display 8, a Google Home Mini, an Android phone [Pie], and an Android tablet [Oreo]. I have Push2Run installed on a Windows 10 Home box, it says that the Pushbullet connection is good, and an IFTTT applet that Pushes a Note. All using the same Gmail account. I followed the installation instructions to the letter - 6 times, then 4 more times from scratch using another gmail account and a new Pushbullet. My Homes and android devices act like there's no IFTTT connection (I checked, my account security is allowing IFTTT).
Worse (or better?). NO IFTTT applet works with my devices. When I try IFTTT with Google Assistant, Simple Phrase, "I'm a frog", Send Yourself an Email - the Homes want me to read a Children's Book "I'm a Frog" and no email.
Help?
I've used IFTTT in the past with Echo/Alexa. Successfully. Never tried with Google devices.
TIA.

Can you please check that your ifft account is linked to your google account correctly.
Here is how:
goto the ifttt main screen (
https://ifttt.com )
click on the down arrow beside your user id
click on service
type google
click on google assistant
click settings
confirm your account setting is as you expect it to be.

That takes care of one problem, thank you. The Google account I was using for IFTTT was not that for the Google Home account. Now the devices respond correctly, but the action doesn't complete. IFTTT activity reports:
"There was a problem with the Pushbullet service."

I had created a new Pushbullet token, and confirmed that the Title filter matches bullet=2Run. Push2Run still reports good Pushbullet connection.
Closer, not quite there.

We're up. I rec'd notification from IFTTT that:
We can’t connect to your Pushbullet.
Have you updated your password recently, or made some other changes? It could also be due to improvements that have been made to the service.
The good news: you can fix it.
Click through to reconnect.
In spite of having remade the IFTTT applet several (+) times, and having reset the Pushbullet account, the Pushbullet connector on|at the IFTTT side still retained the original Gmail address (the one not connected to the Ghome devices). Correcting the address - we now can open the calculator.
Thank you.
Nice work.
Then "Cast" is another hidden gem. Wow.

Great, glad it is working and to have been of help. Enjoy!
Please note: this thread has now been moved to the general discussions area because, as the title says, its 'not a bug'
