Forced to update to 2.1.2 and now push2run is going crazy

I had problems with p2r 2.1.1 (windows 10 pro 1809 64 bit), i sticked to 2.1 but pushbullet's disconnetion was fatal..

Updated to 2.1.2 and now i am getting this:

Can you please check that you don't have two startup entries for the program at:
C:\Users\userid\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (where userid is your windows log on user id)

Nope, no double entry, even tried to delete all users startup entry ...

yeah, i'm getting this also. push2run is reloading every second. if you rename Push2RunReloader.exe to something like _Push2RunReloader.exe then it'll stop loading every second. first install, i did not uninstall the previous verison. after this happened, i uinstalled the software, rebooted, reisntalled it again; and, it was still reloading the program.

not sure what's happening, but i'll await to see if there's any info that can help.

Others have reported problems if Windows UAC is turned off, try turning it on to the recommended level if you have it set off.

Yes, solved the craziness but now i have to deal again with windows 10 uac madness... i'll try to make push2run work with uac on (fu**ing popups)

ok, the only way i found to make it work without prompting uac popup on startup is this:

and moved the shortcut to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

so this needs uac to approve prior to running when windows starts? what was the difference between the previous versions and this when it came to uac? thx.

version 2.1 didn't have the startup problem, various people have reported startup problems with the way the program works currently when uac is turned off - but I cannot recreate them. Of note, this has nothing to do with the pushbullet issues, which have been resolved in version 2.1.2 of the program. Unfortunately, that version has the uac issue where uac really needs to be turned on (for some people - again not yet sure why?)
