Re: McAfee blocks upgrade to Push2Run 4.2
McAfee seems to have no problems with the January 31 re-release of 4.2 (with no real-time scanning exclusions). Thanks!

Re: McAfee blocks upgrade to Push2Run 4.2
A workaround is to exclude the file
"C:\Program Files\Push2Run\Push2RunReloader.exe"
from real-time scanning using the instructions here.
That allowed the 4.2 upgrade to complete successfully.
"C:\Program Files\Push2Run\Push2RunReloader.exe"

McAfee blocks upgrade to Push2Run 4.2
Attempted to upgrade 4.0 to 4.2, but McAfee nixed it. First there was this message https://i.stack.imgur.com/csCrS.png followed by a McAfee pop-up saying that it had blocked an "attack". The following item is in quarantine: Item: Push2RunReloader.exe Threat: Real Protect-LS!0C81B2F66311 De...

Re: Push2Run Application Force Closes (Presumably)
My sister has been having a similar problem for the last month or so. Push2Run would just stop working and its icon disappeared from the system tray. It happened again this morning so I checked Windows' Application Log and found the attached entries. Apparently Application: Push2Run.exe Framework Ve...

Re: "no matching active phrases" - fixed by re-loading Push2Run
This is the first time it has been reported to me. I'll definitely report back if it happens again.
The task itself is very straightforward:

"no matching active phrases" - fixed by re-loading Push2Run
Something is causing Push2Run to "forget" one or more of its active phrases. After a successful session yesterday afternoon (~16:15), this morning (~07:45) Push2Run failed to recognize "reboot" as one of its active phrases: 2019-10-10 11:20:50.143 - Push2Run version 2.4.0.0 start...

Present upgrade message *after* Pushbullet connection?
I have a family member who cannot use her hands. She relies on Push2Run to turn on the computer's microphone so she can use Dragon Naturally Speaking to control the computer. Things have been working very well so far. However, this morning she rebooted the machine (also via Push2Run) and when Push2R...
